NECC Shares More Information about 2023-24 Academic Year

2023-24 NECC Academic Calendar

The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) shared more details about it's 2023-24 academic year, including the titles it will be offering as well as the season-long NECC calendar for the upcoming year. There are more titles and tournaments that will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

"It's hard to believe that the 2023-24 academic year will be our fourth full year of competition," said NECC Commissioner Jacob VanRyn. "We're excited about our growth and development, and i can confidently say this will be our best year yet. Our entire team has been working extremely hard already in preparation for the upcoming fall semester and we're excited."

The conference will be running a Fall and Spring Split of competition in each title and will keep the days of the week consistent for each semester. 

The deadline to register for the Fall Semester Split of competition is Wednesday, September 6th and the NECC's fall semester activation tournament is set to begin on Friday, September 8th. The fall regular season will officially begin two weeks later on Monday, September 25th. 

The NECC regular season will run through mid-November and playoffs will begin on Monday, November 13th. "I think our updated calendar will help us support our teams dn program better and provide better competition across the board," commented VanRyn.

Tuesday - Rainbow Six: Siege | Super Smash Bros. Crews
Wednesday - League of Legends | Counter-Strike
Thursday - Overwatch 2
Friday - Rocket League
